SPK Ignition Airdrop

Spark is running an airdrop campaign to reward users who have participated in various DeFi activities across multiple chains. The campaign consists of two phases: the main Ignition airdrop and an optional Overdrive phase where users can boost their airdrop amount.

How many SPK tokens are allocated to Ignition?

A total of 325,485,000 SPK tokens have been allocated to the Ignition airdrop campaign. Tokens which remain unclaimed at the end of the Ignition claiming period will be distributed in the Overdrive airdrop as specified in the Overdrive rules. You can find more info on the Overdrive airdrop here.

How do I qualify for the Ignition airdrop?

Users can qualify for the Ignition airdrop by meeting one or more of the following criteria. Each criterion met earns users one "Ignition unit". Users’ final SPK allocation will be proportional to their total Ignition units relative to the units of all qualifying users.

Qualification Criteria

Stablecoin Holdings

  • USDS, sUSDS, sUSDC, sDAI, or SAI Holdings
    • Hold at least $1,000 total across any of these tokens on any of the snapshot dates
    • Snapshot dates: April 15, 2023, April 15, 2024, April 15, 2025 - all 23:59:59 UTC
    • Qualifying chains: Mainnet, Base, Arbitrum
    • Possible units: One for each of the four listed tokens
  • xDAI Holdings
    • Hold at least 1,000 xDAI on any of the snapshot dates
    • Snapshot dates: April 15, 2023, April 15, 2024, April 15, 2025 - all 23:59:59 UTC
    • Qualifying chains: Gnosis
    • Possible units: One
  • DAI Holdings
    • Hold at least $10,000 in DAI on any of the snapshot dates
    • Snapshot dates: April 15, 2023, April 15, 2024, April 15, 2025 - all 23:59:59 UTC
    • Qualifying chains: Mainnet, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon
    • Possible units: One

SparkLend Activity

  • SparkLend Deposits
    • Deposit over $100 in a single transaction into SparkLend
    • Deadline: On or prior to April 15, 2025 23:59:59 UTC
    • Qualifying chains: Mainnet, Gnosis
    • Possible units: One

Lending Platform Activity

  • Aave Lending
    • Lend at least $5,000 in aggregate across USDS, sUSDS, USDT, USDC, USDe, sUSDe, DAI, or sDAI
    • Snapshot date: March 15, 2025 23:59:59 UTC
    • Qualifying chains: Mainnet, Base, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, Gnosis
    • Possible units: One
  • Morpho Lending

When can I claim my SPK tokens?

The claim period for Ignition airdrop tokens will be from June 17, 2025 - 08:00 UTC to July 29, 2025 - 14:00 UTC. Unclaimed SPK tokens during this period will be allocated to the Overdrive phase. Please see Overdrive rules for more details.

Which networks qualify for the Ignition airdrop?

The Ignition airdrop rewards activity across multiple networks, including:

  • Ethereum Mainnet
  • Base
  • Arbitrum
  • Optimism
  • Gnosis
  • Polygon

Note that only specific activities on a given network may qualify for Ignition units. Please refer to the specific qualification criteria above for more details.

Claiming SPK is only possible on Ethereum Mainnet.

Important Notes

  • All qualifying amounts are denominated in USD and were calculated using Dune pricing at the time of the snapshot.
  • Users who qualify for multiple criteria will receive more Ignition units.
  • Each user's Ignition airdrop amount will be proportional to their total Ignition units relative to the units of all qualifying users.
