OP Rewards Campaign

Overview

The OP rewards campaign allowed users to earn OP tokens by supplying USDC to sUSDC on Spark Savings across both Optimism Mainnet and Unichain. The campaign ran from June 3rd, 2025 at 01:00 UTC until the end of 2025.

Reward Distribution

Rewards were distributed based on these key factors:

  • Weekly distributions of approximately 76,525.69 OP tokens (subject to weekly adjustments based on market APY)
  • Total campaign allocation: 2,000,000 OP tokens over 7 months
  • Rewards accrued every second based on the user's share of total sUSDC across both chains
  • Distributions occurred once per week (Every Monday), starting June 10th, 2025

  • Campaign Duration: June 3rd, 2025 – End of 2025 (Approx 7 months)
  • Distribution Networks:
    • Rewards were distributed on Optimism Mainnet only
    • Rewards were calculated based on sUSDC holdings on both Optimism Mainnet and Unichain
    • Single claim process for rewards from both chains on OP Mainnet

Claim Process

  • Users can claim their remaining rewards at https://app.spark.fi/rewards. (Make sure to select Optimism Mainnet as the network).
  • You can find more information on how to claim rewards here.
  • Claims are processed through the SparkRewards contract on Optimism Mainnet
  • The Merkle root contains combined rewards for both chains

Claim Deadlines

  • Users must claim their rewards within 3 months from the end of each epoch. Rewards not claimed within the 3-month window expire and cannot be claimed.
  • Epochs ran quarterly, with the first epoch starting June 3rd, 2025.

Restricted Geographies

No country restrictions applied. However the Spark Terms of Use still apply, meaning that e.g. sanctioned users are not able to claim rewards.
