Redstone Rewards Campaign

Overview

The Redstone rewards campaign allowed users to earn RED tokens by supplying cbBTC on SparkLend (Ethereum Mainnet). The campaign started on April 10 at 15.00 UTC and ended on Sept 4, 2025.

Reward Distribution

Rewards were distributed based on these key factors:

  • Weekly distributions of 200,000 RED tokens.

  • Rewards accrued every second based on the user's share of total cbBTC deposits.

  • Per second reward share was calculated using this formula:

    User Share = (cbBTC Supplies - cbBTC Borrow Amount / cbBTC Liquidation Threshold) / Total cbBTC Supplies

  • Borrowing cbBTC reduced the reward allocation

  • Looping (repeated borrowing and supplying cbBTC) was not rewarded

  • Distributions occurred once per week (Every Monday), starting April 21st, 2025.

Claim Deadlines

  • Users have 3 months from issuance to claim their rewards. Rewards not claimed within 3 months expire and cannot be claimed.
